Position Summary: Under general direction, assist in the planning, organization, and coordination of District’s Police Department’s daily operations; assist in the scheduling and assigning of personnel; and perform other duties as assigned.

Employee Type: Full and Part Time
Salary: $27.18 per hour
Substitutes are ‘on-call’ employees serving on a day-to-day basis. Be advised that absences are unpredictable; therefore assignment offers are not guaranteed.
Experience and Experience
- Two (2) years of clerical experience involving the preparation and maintenance of records and
schedules. - Prior school security or dispatching experience highly desirable
- High school graduation or equivalent.
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required
Successful completion of the California Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) and the Public Safety Dispatcher Academy and training program. Must be able to successfully complete within one year of date of hire.

Upon hire, selected candidates will be asked to provide proof of a negative TB reading, perform a criminal background check by the Department of Justice and FBI.
