Substitute Bus Attendant
Position Summary
Assists Bus Drivers in supporting the safety and welfare of students while transported to and from school sites and on special trips. Monitors activity and assists with the mobility needs of students.
Work Year: Continuous
Employee Type: Full Time and Part Time
Salary: $16.46 per hour (Step 1 of the Board Approved CSEA Salary Schedule for the classification)
Education and Education
The position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with special needs children is desired.
Licenses and Certificates
May require a valid driver license, first aid, and CPR certificates.
Condition of Employment
Insurability by the District’s liability insurance carrier (Strength Test)
Passage of pre-employment drug testing (DOT) and Random Drug Test(s)
