Position Summary:
Organizes, leads, and participates in food preparation and service operations at a school site. Orders and maintains an inventory of food items as well as food service records in compliance with state and federal requirements. Ensures adequate inventory of food and related items that match established menus.

Salary: $23.97 - $31.71 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.
Location: Rancho Del Paso K-12
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).
Education and Experience:
The position requires a High School diploma plus formal training in meal planning, nutrition, sanitation, business administration, cafeteria management, or related field, and 4 years of experience in food service, 2 of which are as an institutional cook or food production team leader.
Licenses and Certifications:
Requires valid California Driver’s License and certificate of completion of a food safety manager certificate.

• Food Safety Manager Certification (ServSafe or Equivalent))
