Position Summary:
Plans and supervises day-to-day activities and operations of the Transportation Department including efficient and timely student transportation, development of and adapting routes and schedules using computer-aided routing systems to optimize service.

Salary: $101,061-$125,397 in 7 annual steps. Salary placement based on experience.
Stipends: Master's Degree $2,000 yr, Doctoral additional $1,200 yr

Hours: 1.0 FTE (TBD by Shift Assignment)

Experience and Education
The position typically requires a high school diploma and five years of progressive experience in school or public transportation/transit, two of which should be in a leadership capacity. Additional post-secondary education or military training in logistics may substitute for some experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Possession of an appropriate, valid commercial driver’s license and medical examination required. A valid California Special Certificate with a School Bus endorsement, and valid CPR/First Aid Certificate. Requires the ability to obtain a California State Department of Education School Bus Drivers instructors or administrative certificate.
