Position Summary:
This position is designed to leverage resources to improve parent engagement, especially in the District’s underrepresented communities/groups. Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, serves as a liaison to coordinate workshops and services for the purpose of parent engagement with site administration, district personnel, community partners to provide resources. Creates welcoming and inclusive environments to foster partnerships between families, schools, district, and community partners. Facilitates and coordinates parent/guardian opportunities to engage through various activities, events, and workshops to promote positive attendance and academic success, in alignment with the district and departmental goals and objectives.

Salary: $23.97 - $31.71 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.
Location: Special Projects & Equity
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).
Education and Experience:
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience working with students and parents in an instructional or social service setting. May require competency in a second language.
Licenses and Certifications:
Requires a valid driver’s license. May require CPR certification.
