2026 Summer School Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher
Summer school employees will receive one day of sick leave credit for summer school service; if summer school sick leave is not used, it may be carried over by the Member to the regular school year (Article 19.6 in the TRUE contract)
Summer school employment is at will and may be terminated by the district (Article 19.4 in TRUE contract)
Summer school hourly rate is $60 (Article 19.7 in TRUE contract)
Summer school teachers will be paid to arrive 15 minutes before student arrival and to stay for 15 minutes after student dismissal, based on the hourly rate in section 19.7 (Article 19.8 in TRUE contract)
All programs are conducted IN PERSON.
Employees must be able to work the full assignment.
Qualified applicants will hold a valid CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential; Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe with English Language Learner Authorization

Rio Tierra JHS: 8:15 am -12:45 pm (4.5 hours/day)
Rio Linda HS: 8:15 am -12:45 pm (4.5 hours/day)
