The district serves approximately 25,000 PreK - Adult students in northern Sacramento County who come from families that speak 53 different languages. We are proud to include among our 3,415 employees 4 Sacramento County Teachers of the Year (2025, 2021, 2020, 2011), 4 California Classified School Employees of the Year (2024, 2021, 2020, 2010).

Our district includes 45 school sites—28 elementary, 5 middle, 4 comprehensive high schools, 3 charters at 8 sites, 4 alternative schools, and 1 adult education.

Twin Rivers serves the communities of Arden Fair, Del Paso Heights, Dos Rios, Elverta, Foothill Farms, Gardenland, McClellan Park, Natomas, Northgate, North Highlands, North Sacramento, Robla, Rio Linda and Woodlake.
